A LazyJobSeeker alternative with a 7-day refund

LazyJobSeeker's Angel Copilot runs on Mac, Windows, Linux and in the browser, and it sells one-time passes instead of subscriptions: $25 for a month of Pro, or $64 for three months. What you get is metered in credits. At LazyJobSeeker's published rates, Pro's 600 monthly credits cover about an hour of Fully Automatic Mode or 300 voice answers (our arithmetic). And every sale is final: its refund policy says strictly no refunds. InterviewWhisperer is a Mac app with up to 3 hours of live answers a day on every plan, $149 once for three months, and a full refund within 7 days.

How it's different

LazyJobSeeker meters what you use. InterviewWhisperer doesn't make you do credit math in the middle of a job search: every plan includes up to 3 hours of live listening a day. When the interviewer finishes, press ⌘; and a short answer you can say out loud appears, built from your resume and the job description, so it never answers small talk or a half-finished question. Screenshot a coding problem with ⌘W for the approach, the code and the complexity. When the call ends you get a recap of every question and what to review.

What "invisible" does and doesn't mean

We're specific about this on purpose. The overlay uses macOS's window-level capture exclusion, so it's left out of screenshots, screen recordings and screen shares that capture through the system. We've tested it in Google Meet and in Zoom, both the desktop app and the browser. In the Zoom desktop app, leave Screen capture mode on Auto (the default) rather than "Advanced capture without window filtering". It isn't a magic cloak: a phone camera pointed at your screen can still see it. You can try it free on your own Mac (30 minutes of live answers, no card) and run the free checker before you pay.

One payment for the whole search

Most job searches take two to three months. InterviewWhisperer is $149 for three months, one payment that covers the whole hunt, or $29 for a single weekif you just have a few rounds coming up. Neither one renews, so nothing bills you after you land the job. If you'd rather pay monthly, that plan is $69 and you can cancel anytime.

Questions people ask

Is LazyJobSeeker cheaper? Yes, for light use. Three months of Pro is $64, paid once, against $149 for InterviewWhisperer's three months. They buy different amounts: Pro's 600 credits a month cover about an hour of Fully Automatic Mode or 300 voice answers, while InterviewWhisperer includes up to 3 hours of live listening a day.

What if it doesn't work for me? Ask within 7 days and you get a full refund, even if you used it in an interview. LazyJobSeeker's policy is strictly no refunds, except for a purchase that was never delivered.

Does either one renew? LazyJobSeeker never renews. InterviewWhisperer's week and three-month passes never renew either; only the $69 monthly plan does, until you cancel.

Does it run on Windows or Linux? No, InterviewWhisperer is a Mac app for Apple Silicon Macs. LazyJobSeeker runs on Mac, Windows, Linux and in Chrome.
